(Page 2 of 3) Get your Fantasies Going! Develop very specific fantasies about all the ways you intend to enjoy your new slender body. New clothes? Plan your shopping now, pretend trying on the new clothes, including that sexy swimsuit. How about your enjoyment of your vigorous body? Dancing? Great sex? Running? Swimming? Long Hikes? Remember: you get what you concentrate on- if you have no fantasies going, then you are not concentrating that much, and weight loss is much less likely to manifest for you or will take much longer.
Understand that it usually takes about three weeks for a behavior change to really get adopted by your body/mind. Therefore, affirmations that concern a particular behavior must be spoken for three weeks minimum. The Quik Program Itself: Week 1. Just use the VIP affirmation (400-500X daily - insert your own goal weight) "I weigh ____ pounds and notice my eating behaviors." You will get all sorts of ideas come to mind during this week about the ways you use food, your patterns, your food impulses. Pay attention to them all. During this week start making a few EASY choices to eat less and exercise more. Did you "forget" your affirmations one day? If so, you are resisting and will need to make a more concerted effort with your affirmations, reduce your number of small behavior changes, or switch to Brainwashing Lite.
